I have always loved working with children and being a positive part of their growth and development. I’m currently attending UT Health Science Center to earn my nursing degree, and my long-term goal is to become a pediatric oncology nurse. I enjoy building meaningful connections with kids, keeping them engaged, and seeing the world through their unique perspectives. I have over three years of experience working with the YMCA, where I provided after-school childcare and worked at summer camps with children of different ages. During that time, I planned fun activities, helped with homework, supervised groups, and always prioritized creating a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment. I am BLS certified, bilingual in English and Spanish, have reliable transportation, and am happy to help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and homework.
