My name is Demetra! I love spending time with family and loved ones and in my free time I like to be outdoors as much as possible! I currently have over 4 years of childcare experience with ages ranging from 2 months-7yrs old! Upon working with older ages (4-7yrs) I have implemented after school activities such as homework and playtime and babysat for a variety of ages where I implement as little screen time as possible and as much sensory and motor play as possible (ex. Legos, drawing, water bag sensory play, play dough). I think it’s very important for kiddos to get their brains moving and thinking no matter the age! I have worked at daycare centers for about a year and have learned so much from my employment. I currently work with infants ages 5 months- 18 months and I love every second! All in all, I thoroughly enjoy my time working with any age group because there is so much to learn, and I learn something new everyday!
