I first started working with kids when I was in high school by participating in Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Right away I knew I loved being a positive influence. After getting married and having two of my own children, I started working at a nearby elementary assisting the first grade teachers with every classroom activities. After school I helped with Kids Inc after school program from all grades K-5. More recently I was a nanny for a family with two small toddlers where I also helped the mother with light house keeping and errands. This past June I moved with my family to Colorado Springs, and with both of my kids in school I'm finding myself with a lot of available time. I'd prefer to keep busy helping a family who is in need of childcare or help keeping and maintaining a home.
