I love being a baby sitter because it gives parents the opportunity to have free time. I get to have experience with taking care of children and teens which goes into the line of work I want to do when I’m older. And I can be flexible with my time throughout the summer and make sure the kids I babysit are getting taken care of. I have been a baby sitter on and off for about 1-2 years. I would babysit my moms friends kids who were 6 and 10 years old. I have also baby sit a couple of others when my mom’s friends needed me to take care of them. The type of skills that I have is patience when dealing with tougher kids and playfulness if they want to go to a park near by and get their energy out.
