My name is Anna, and I am a 24 year old mother of two boys. I have a 2.5 year old, and a 6 week old. I know hiring someone with an infant sounds daunting, but I assure you I am still able to work effectively even with the care demands of an infant. When he is not napping we do baby wearing to ensure I am still able to complete the tasks needed in my own home, so I would continue that practice in your home as well. I do have childcare experience outside of my own children, there have consistently been babies being brought into my family for my entire life so I am accustomed to children of all ages. I also have experience with babysitting through high school and even employment with a daycare provider back in my home state of Mississippi. I do not believe in Read more being an authoritarian with children I am around, I believe that kindness, understanding, and treating them as the small human that they are is key to healthy growth and development. My job is to help them grow to be respectful and kind human beings that are productive members of society. I am used to the demands of up-keeping a home due to associated duties with my own children, husband, and stepdaughter when she is here with us. I am able to go as far as preparing meals based on your children’s dietary needs and preferences, as well as baking treats if they are allowed to have them, and would love to incorporate them into those processes. I believe in involving children in daily activities to teach them fundamental knowledge as well as life skills. The kitchen is my favorite place to teach math and problem solving skills. I am also very artistic and love to do crafts, I especially enjoy painting but I have experience with all types of arts and projects. I incorporate lots of outside play in our day to day routine as well (when weather permitting), and try to limit screen time. I have a Ford Expedition, so I have plenty of room for transporting everyone if that is ever needed. I am CPR certified and an experienced swimmer. I have years of horseback riding experience as well as veterinarian clinic experience, so I am well versed, comfortable, and familiar with a multitude of animals.
