Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy caring for others and creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for children. It’s very rewarding to build trusting relationships with both kids and their families, and to be someone children feel comfortable and happy around. I enjoy helping with learning, playtime, and daily routines while supporting each child’s growth and personality. What experience do you have? I have experience caring for children of all ages, including newborns, toddlers, school-aged children, and pre-teens. Growing up, I helped care for my siblings, which taught me responsibility, patience, and how to manage multiple children at once. I currently work as a Patient Care Technician at a children’s hospital, where I care for patients and support families during stressful situations. I’ve assisted with feeding, diapering, bathing, bedtime routines, homework, and engaging kids in safe, fun activities. I’m also happy to help with cooking, light cleaning, running errands, and caring for pets. What skills and training do you have? I am a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with healthcare experience that allows me to provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care. I am CPR trained and able to respond calmly in emergencies. I am currently studying to become a neonatal nurse and am almost finished with my Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), which has given me strong knowledge in infant and child care, especially for newborns and medically complex children. I am reliable, patient, detail-oriented, and able to multitask while maintaining a calm and organized environment.
