I love being a sitter because I'm able to provide a family with the high-quality support they need, and it offers the opportunity to make a positive difference in a child's life. I have been babysitting for 6 years, ages 3 months to 8 years old. I also worked at the YMCA from May 2023 to October 2024 in their after-school program for ages 5 to 12 years old. From my experience in childcare, I gained social-emotional skills, communication with children and parents, organizational and time management skills, problem-solving abilities, and safety awareness. I am currently going to school to become a social worker, and with this degree, I want to improve the lives of children.
