A Little About Me Hi! My name is Laura, and I’m a recent graduate of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences in May 2026. I’m currently preparing for the MCAT as I work toward my goal of attending medical school and becoming a physician. Before graduating, I had the opportunity to work as an Assistant Teacher at the UTRGV Child Development Center, where I primarily cared for infants ages 3–12 months and toddlers ages 19–27 months, while also working with children up to 3 years old. This experience taught me how important patience, attentiveness, consistency, and genuine affection are when caring for little ones. I especially enjoy the infant and toddler stages because every day brings something new to learn, explore, and celebrate. As someone pursuing a career in medicine, caring for others is something I genuinely value. I Read more understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident leaving their children with someone else. I strive to create a warm, safe, and reassuring environment where children can feel comfortable being themselves while their parents are away. While I prepare for the next step in my education, I’m looking for babysitting opportunities to help support my MCAT and future medical-school expenses, contribute toward my everyday bills, and have a little spending money of my own. More importantly, I would love to continue doing something I truly enjoy—spending time with and caring for children. I’m dependable, patient, caring, and attentive to the little details that matter. Whether your child needs help with a routine, playtime and activities, a snack, nap time, or simply someone to keep them company and make them feel safe, I’ll do my best to make them feel comfortable and cared for. I know that choosing someone to care for your child is a big decision, and I would be grateful for the opportunity to earn your trust and become someone your family feels comfortable welcoming into your home. ❤️
