Hi my name is Karren Collier Stevens. I am a mom with 4 married sons and their wives. I have 22 grandchildren. I am known as the “Funny Nana” I love children and began babysitting at age 12. Here are some of the things I have done with children: led many children's choirs, teach private swim lessons, homeschooled my boys (men), taught music to 3 years old to 6th grade at Lancaster Christian Academy, teach childbirth classes, have been a doula for 18 years. Worked in the ER at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Sign language is my 2 language, I have been signing for 40 years, helped with many VBS’s, was a children’s pastor, Junior High Youth leader (camps and all) for 20 years. When there is a major disaster, we go in and listen to the victims, help them with anything they need and pray for them. Been on 2 missions trips to the Dominican Republic children’s orphanage, love those kids, I enjoy swimming, kayaking and play numerous instruments. As you have read I have a huge heart for children. I will make sure your child is safe. I enjoy watching them explore, grow, learn new things. Every child is different, which makes them so fun. I would like to share the talents that God has given me, so they can learn something new. I want them to feel loved and special. Every child is a blessing and a gift from God.
