Thought sitter quit without notice after agreeing to days and hours needed for role because I didn’t hear back from her. Received first pay check and left a lot of things behind that weren’t cleaned up like a lot of half drunken water bottles/towels unwashed after receiving partial pay at beginning of shift and end of nanny shift then rest of full pay. Total slightly over 1k from Wednesday evening to Sunday at noon. Then just showed up without confirming through text when I asked if she’d still work next shift once she expressed the days being away from home needed to be worth it because she has dogs. Had some failed communication with sitter. However she got me flowers for Mother’s Day! Very very thoughtful and sweet. Overall okay experience , but I need someone more dependable and communicative for nanny role.
