I love being a sitter because I enjoy spending time with kids and helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I like being able to keep kids entertained, help with routines, and make sure they have someone dependable with them while their parents are away. I have experience helping care for younger family members, including helping my mom with my younger twin siblings. I have also spent time around children with different needs and personalities, which has taught me to be patient, understanding, and flexible. I have completed a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course, where I learned about positive reinforcement, communication, bahvior, safety, and working with children. I am not currently an RBT, but the training gave me useful skills that I can bring into babysitting. Some of my strongest skills are patience, empathy, responsibility, communication, staying calm, following routines, and keeping children engaged.
