We were very excited to have her watching our nine month old son, we had a in person interview. Everything seemed to went well in the moment. She did have a little bit of a delayed communication back-and-forth with me when texting about the job leading up to the first day. I just gave her the benefit of the doubt because everyone has lives. Everyone gets busy. I had an appointment at 10 AM. We agreed she would start at 9 AM, I gave her a little bit of a grace period it hit about 9:15 AM. I asked if she was still coming and if everything was OK, she never responded. I had to cancel and reschedule my postop check because I had just had surgery.??‍♀️ I do wanna say she’s a very nice girl, very sweet. Good with dogs. Good with kids. At least within that moment we had met her. I just think she could do better with communication and if she’s not gonna show up, I feel she should let the parent know so the parent can make other arrangements. I’m unsure about how she felt with everything, but she did seem very excited about the job within text messaging.

After requesting a call, giving a general description of my location, providing my private phone number and asking for a call a number of other times; all with responses from her, I just never received a call, text or apology. As a very private person, I felt violated that I revealed my personal information and was passed over for a better offer.
