I have worked as a CNA for a year and a half now at NHC Rehab Center. I work with geriatric patients and, although it is a little different, I have experience in feeding, bathing, and diapering them. While I haven’t had paid experience in the childcare setting, I have been volunteering in my church nursery since I was twelve and also have younger cousins, siblings, and neighbors that I have cared for growing up. I love children and I am currently seeking a degree in speech pathology at ETSU. Growing up, I have always had a love for children and the creative fun that caring for them brings. I find it so rewarding and I hope to incorporate that love into my future career.
