I’ve been working with children since I was 15 through babysitting, youth programs, swim instruction, and lifeguarding. My passion for childcare continued through college, where I nannied for children with special needs, taught swim lessons, and eventually became a head instructor for First Aid and CPR courses while earning my degree in Elementary Education from VCU. After graduation, I taught English in Spain and then have been working as a substitute teacher in my hometown’s school system. No matter where life has taken me, supporting and encouraging children has always been at the heart of what I do. I recently moved back to the Richmond area and am looking for summer work with kids. I’m a strong advocate for water safety and love helping children build confidence through safe, and curious exploration outdoors. I also enjoy encouraging creativity through reading, music, dancing, painting, coloring, and other imaginative activities that help Read more kids learn and express themselves.
