Hi! I'm Brenda. My main interest is in caring for infants-preschoolers, part time, afternoons and evenings, either at your home or mine. I am calm and patient (practicing meditation and yoga) and believe that is the best way to handle young children. I raised two daughters while working in an infant daycare center and continued as a part-time nanny ever since. I am certified in CPR and first aid and have continued training in childcare, including special needs. I was previously certified as a Senior Care Companion. I've cared for many children of various ages, specializing in infants. I spent a few years working for a senior care agency traveling to homes to provide care. I have also previously raised cats and dogs. I enjoy interacting and have a hands-on approach to childcare; playing, reading, outdoor time, etc. I currently, occasionally, work as a vetted on-call nanny through Helpr-app.com at Read more $25/hr minimum. Caretaking and nurturing come naturally for me. I'm fully vaccinated and boosted for Covid, influenza, etc. I live near SDSU in a spacious 3 bedroom; scent-free, smoke/vape-free and pet free. My clean background checks, drug tests and driving records have offered me many opportunities. I have excellent references for reliability and punctuality. I no longer have pets of my own and my children are grown so I love helping others with care.

Brenda is awesome! If you want somebody you can trust and not stress about with your kids or pets, then you will not regret reaching out to Brenda! We have asked Brenda to be our sitter on multiple occasions--both for our 1 year old baby and for our 3 kitties. To this day, Brenda is the only person (other than us) who has been able to get our baby to sleep through the night. With our cats, Brenda was immediately their friend and they were excited to come out and ask for rubs. (One of our cats is usually very scared and hides, so this is a big deal.) Every time Brenda comes to our house our cats are over the moon.

Brenda is everything we could ask for in a nanny/sitter. She is caring, engaging, and thoughtful with our son. She has so much experience with infants that I have learned things from her. She has a calm demeanor but is also energetic to meet the demands of playful kids. We are lucky to work with her!

Brenda was wonderful with our daughter and kept us at ease. She was very prompt with communication, showed up early, and was friendly. I would recommend her!
