Hi! I am a KSU student with years of hands-on childcare experience from taking care of and helping raise my three younger siblings. I’m bilingual; English is my native language, and I also speak Mandarin. I speak a little Vietnamese as well, but I’m still learning! While I’m new to professional babysitting, I have years of experience caring for children and was given a lot of responsibility at a young age. I personally love children and hope to have my own one day. I believe in being patient with children and using age-appropriate explanations, reasoning, repetition, and redirection instead of yelling. I can easily switch between best-friend/big-sister mode and guardian mode. Ask my siblings—they’d tell you! Kidding, haha. But they do say I’m like a mom sometimes, while other times I’m their fun big sister who takes them out to play while still keeping them in line. I’m talkative, adaptable, Read more and conscientious. I love singing, reading, and storytelling, and I’d be happy to read, sing, or tell stories to your child. I’ve been told I have a great speaking and singing voice—and if not, the kids will tell me. They’re brutally honest after all, haha. I’m comfortable in the kitchen and can prepare simple, healthy, family-friendly meals while accommodating your family’s dietary preferences and needs. You pick up a lot when your father is the designated chef of the household! I can also help with light housework, clean up after the children and myself, wash dishes, and keep their spaces tidy. In an emergency, my main priority is your child’s safety. I know to stay calm, call 911 when necessary, and notify parents or guardians as soon as possible. I also take family privacy seriously and keep my work separate from my social life. I love driving and would be happy to provide transportation as needed, including school pickup, drop-off, or activities. I own a spacious SUV capable of accommodating multiple children.
