Hi! My name is Carey. I’m 39 years old, married, and live in Harrisburg with my husband and our 8-year-old son. I’m a reliable, attentive sitter with both professional childcare experience and hands-on parenting experience. I earned my Assistant Teaching degree and graduated from Vo-Tech in 2005 at the top of my Child Care Development class. I was a nanny for two years before transitioning into the Information Technology field, where I currently work as a Program Manager. That background has helped me become extremely organized, dependable, and great at communication. I truly adore children of all ages and am a big advocate for being active and engaged - helping kids unwind, play, and burn off energy after long school days. I’m also happy to assist with light housekeeping and pet care as needed. I have an 8-year-old son who is kind, well-behaved, and wonderful with younger kids. For the past two years, Carey M. has always done a fantastic job babysitting our two children, who were 10 and 8, respectively, when she first began babysitting for us. Because our younger child has autism and is non-verbal, we especially needed someone like her, who has the right experience and interpersonal skills. Carey exceeded our expectations. She is very diligent, responsible and trustworthy. We would definitely recommend her as a care provider.

Carey is great! She's the first person we call whenever we need someone to watch our son; she's been sitting for him since he was around 7 months old. (He just turned 1 as of the writing of this review.) She has also been incredibly understanding and flexible when we've needed her on short notice, and she's so communicative and willing to help in any way she can. Though I would hate to increase the chance that she won't be available for us because she's caring for your children, I can't recommend Carey highly enough.
