I love being a sitter because caring for kids has always been a natural part of my life. I grew up in a big family and I’m right in the middle of six kids, so I’ve always been around little ones. I really enjoy building relationships with kids, helping them feel safe and cared for, and creating a fun, positive environment where they can just be themselves. I have a wide range of experience working with children of all ages. I grew up helping in childcare at church, and I’ve worked in aftercare programs and as a summer camp counselor. I also nannied for an infant from about 3 months old to 6 months old, which gave me hands-on experience with baby care and routines. I’ve worked in a Montessori school setting, and I’m currently an administrative assistant at a daycare/preschool, so I’m very familiar with both the classroom and Read more behind-the-scenes side of childcare. I have strong communication, patience, and the ability to stay calm in busy or stressful situations. My experience in Montessori and childcare settings has helped me learn how to support children’s independence, guide behavior positively, and keep routines structured but fun. I’m also reliable, organized, and very safety-focused. I’m comfortable caring for multiple children at once and adapting to different ages and needs.
