Hello families! My name is Ashley and I live in portage lakes. I have years of experience for caring for children. I am currently the lead infant teacher at my child care facility. I make weekly lesson plans for these children, each individualized to meet their needs. Daily I include creativity and art, exercise, music, play, fun, small and large motor skills, snack time, lunch, and of course nap time into each day. I will incorporate these subjects daily into your child’s life and that way they expand their growth to their fullest potential. I believe that some sort of system/routine is crucial in their life (especially when they are young). I have 5 children in my classroom now ranging from 4 months - 2 and 1/2 years old. I also have experience caring for the preschoolers and the school-agers. I have cared for children who have type 1 diabetes, Read more autism, intellectual disabilities, and general learning disabilities. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I love the kids who I look after now, however I do not agree with the actual facility in which I currently work at. I want to branch out on my own, and care for one family.
