I am a recent college graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara and I have moved back home with my parents. This year, I will be applying to graduate schools and getting experience in the Humanitarian Aid field, while waiting to start school next fall. On top of babysitting, I am volunteering and doing an internship with the International Rescue Committee in Dallas as an Office Intern and a Family Mentor for refugee families being displaced here. This includes helping the children in the family to learn English and help with their homework from their new schools. I began consistently babysitting during high school and once I moved away to college, during summers, I also babysat on and off, depending on what the families needed. I have had the experience to babysit for a range of ages, amount of children and varying situations. Examples include, babysitting three children (2yr Read more old, 4yr old and 7yr old) from 8am-5pm throughout a summer and taking care of a 6 month old baby last Saturday. Right now, I am the regular babysitter for a couple of families that I have grown very close with. I am a very happy and creative person that loves to be around others and appreciates children's imagination.
