Joelle B.

I am writing to give my strongest recommendation for Joelle Beaudreault for a childcare position. She would be an outstanding employee for any family. I met Joelle several years ago at the Rhode Island Youth Poetry Awards and she became a very close friend of my son, who is also an aspiring writer. When the Brown student that was working for us decided to spend the year in London, Joelle took over her part time nanny position in September. Her principal duties involve driving our 12 year old son Ari to tennis practice and other activities as well helping with homework. Joelle also routinely watches Ari overnight as I of ten spend several days a week in New York for my job in finance/financial news and my husband frequently travels to Iceland to visit our 16 year old son that plays for a professional soccer team in Reykjavik. She has done an absolutely terrific job. She is incredibly hard working and conscientious and is absolutely wonderful with children. Joelle also volunteers at a child care center and hence has extensive experience with younger children as well. She loves traveling, having brought Ari to visit me when I was on an extended work trip in Paris in December. She would take him to museums and parks during the day while I was in meetings. It was a magical week. We will be very sad to see Joelle move on to another family, but know that it will be fantastic experience for her as well as the family she works for.
