I am from Boston, Massachusetts and am a sophomore at SMU. I went to a small public school in a suburb of Boston called Dover. I have a younger sister, two dogs and a horse. I played field hockey and lacrosse in high school and was also an equestrian on top of that. I play club lacrosse at SMU and also volunteer at the Highland Park United Methodist Church once a month working with special needs children. I am also part of the Relay For Life Club on campus which is an organization that raises money for the American Cancer Society. I am on the board committee as the Registration Coordinator. I have grown up babysitting and nannying for families since I was 13 years old. I started off casually with families in my town after school and worked my way up to more serious jobs. I have nannied for Read more family and friends in Michigan and Rhode Island over past summers. I have worked with kids ages 2 up to middle school. I am also the oldest of my cousins and siblings. I am very close with all of them and love being the one they look up to. I am especially close with my younger sister. She means the world to me and I do consider her one of my best friends. I was the assistant manager at a barn in my home town. I got the 5th place year round award for SEHA/Cape Cod Horse Show’s in Child/Adult Division for riding. And, I worked with children (beginners and experienced) and taught lessons, helped them work with horses and cleaning the barn. I was also the assistant coach for middle school field hockey and lacrosse, since I was high school captain of varsity for both. I love doing absolutely everything with kids. It is always up to them. Going to the park, watching movies, biking, swimming, arts/crafts, sports, etc. I love being outside and as long as the kids are happy, I am happy.
