Hi! My name is Ali, I live in Longmont, and I'm looking for another great family to work for. I am originally from the east coast, but I moved out to Colorado about 5 years ago. I love it here. I have many years of experience working in child care. I worked at a daycare as lead teacher for ten years ranging from ages 6 months to twelve years. I have experience working with all ages. I left the daycare to become a nanny, and have been nannying for families for about 6-7 years. I am First aid/CPR certified for children of all ages including newborns. I have also been through multiple different training classes on various child care subjects. I have experience working with multiples with a class up to 30+ children. Also, nannying for families with up to 4+ children. I believe it is important to keep the Read more childrens mind stimulated, to keep them interested, while also implementing lesson plans to always keep the children learning. The safety of the children is always the number one goal, but teaching new information for them to learn is also extremely important. I am very compassionate, empathetic, patient, fun, trustworthy, responsible, and kind. However, I am not a push over and I know how to encourage necessary rules and directions. I believe children need structure, and I feel it is also very important to follow a daily schedule. When I am a nanny for a family, I'm not just babysitting. I think of age appropriate projects and activities that help teach and stimulate their minds. I will bring craft supplies and new ideas. I also think it is very important to form a trusting relationship and bond with the children, as well as the parents. Also, with any pets in the family. I am looking for a family who I can grow close with and have a long term relationship with. However, if I am only needed for a short time, or only on occasion, I am willing to do that as well. I would be happy to explain my experience more in depth and provide references with any family that is interested. I will not let you down.
