Hi! My name is Ali, I live in Longmont, and I have almost 20 years of experience working in child care. I worked at a daycare as lead teacher for 10 years ranging from ages 6 months to 13 years. I have experience working with all ages. I left the daycare to become a nanny, and have been nannying for families for about 8 years. I am First aid/CPR certified for children of all ages including newborns. I have also been through multiple different training courses on various child care subjects. I have experience working with multiples with a class up to 30+ children. The safety of the children is always my number one rule. I also believe it is important to keep the childrens mind stimulated, to keep them interested, while also implementing fun lessons, crafts, games, etc. to always keep the children learning and having fun. I believe children need structure, and I feel it is also very important to follow a daily schedule. I think of age appropriate projects and activities that help teach and stimulate their minds.
