I am a college student in my junior year studying elementary education. I'm hoping to teach 1st or 2nd grade when I graduate. I have 5 years of babysitting experience and 2 years of experience working with children at a summer camp. I have also worked as a lunch/recess supervisor in a K-5 school building. I am also CPR and first aid certified. Throughout my job working at the summer camp, I have received mandated reporter, child development, and behavior management training. I have been able to practice these skills throughout my experiences working with children. I love working with kids because I get to become a person they trust, build connections with them and see them grow into independent thinkers.
