My skills include over 20 years of experience caring for children newborn to 15. My situation was unique in the way that I was employed with one family alone for 15+ years (they had a five month old baby girl, baby girl #2 arrived three years later). As I was employed with this family, connections were made with two other families and I nannied for all three at one time as the children were within elementary age, went to school together, and the families schedules all mirrored one another. While employed as a childcare giver, I was dedicated, passionate and committed to providing a warm, safe, nurturing and encouraging environment for children, while working with their parents to ensure that all needs are met. While it has been some time since my last nanny job in 2010 (the family had a 3 month old baby girl), I have since had Read more the opportunities of babysitting for family and friends the past few years, as well as my own newborn grandchild. I have also taken part in volunteering (four years) thru a local school as a reading tutor. This job enabled me to continue working with children and has stirred within me the passion to work within personal childcare/nannying once again.
