Hi, I'm Ashley! I'm a motivating and patient educator who truly loves connecting with kids and helping them grow, both academically and as kind individuals. I bring a collaborative, confident, and approachable presence to every family I work with. I've been working with a diverse range of families since I was 13 years old, caring for children aged 1-11 over the past seven years. This hands-on experience has given me a deep understanding of how to support kids at every stage. Every child is different, and I love being able to meet them where they are and adapt to their unique needs. In addition to babysitting, I've been working at St. Bede Grade School's Aftercare Program, where I plan activities, guide behavior, and build strong connections with students. Through St. Bede I have recieved my clearances and would be happy to send them over if needed! I've also held several Read more leadership roles in customer service and fast-paced environments, which have taught me how to stay calm under pressure and handle responsibilities with maturity. What really sets me apart as a sitter is my ability to see the bigger picture in any situation. I'm very proud of my skill in assessing problems with both empathy and patience. Whether this is shown through supporting a child in a tough moment or a gentle reminder that it's okay to make mistakes, my outlook has proven to be helpful in many situations. I always strive to be a supportive, calming presence that children feel safe around. I'm trained in effective communication, have the natural ability to lead by example, and genuinely enjoy being a positive role model! Childcare isn't just a side job for me, it's something I truly love doing, and I'm excited to continue bringing warmth, structure, and fun into all the homes I work in.
