I moved from my home state of Tennessee about 4 years ago to attend college here, where I have finished my second year in Russian Studies. Other people would describe me as responsible, patient, and quiet. I grew up in a farming community, so I'm comfortable around most animals. I'm a bookworm at heart and I would love to imprint an appreciation of reading on the next generation. I'm always ready for an adventure, and I particularly enjoy aerial obstacle courses. Prior to moving, I helped take care of a 7-year-old boy with autism, whom I encouraged to overcome his fear of water and taught him to swim above and below the water. I always wanted a younger sibling growing up, so having the opportunity to be that roll model to other children is rewarding to me.
