Hello! My name is Miranda Cruze and I’m currently a nursing student at the University of Texas at Arlington and a Registered Behavior Technician. I have experience working with children aged 6 months to 14 years old. I have extensive experience with special needs children, namely those diagnosed with level 3 autism. I am QBS trained and have an active BLS certification from the American Heart Association. I’m able to meal prep, cook, clean, drive/shuttle, grocery shop, help with homework, care for pets, and provide entertainment. I believe in having patience, understanding, kindness, and teaching children through positive reinforcement. My background working in Applied Behavior Analysis has gifted me the tools to help teach children fundamental communication, emotional regulation, and social skills — tantrums don’t scare me! I also have a passion for spending quality time with kids away from screens, as my grandfather looked after me when I was Read more young and had a tremendous impact on me. I have my own, reliable car (Acura MDX) to drive that is well-maintained and has 7 seats, excluding the driver’s seat. There’s plenty of room for a booster seat or baby seats! In addition to my CPR certification, I have training in taking care of basic cuts/injuries, assessing head injuries, and using an epipen in the event of a severe allergic reaction. I also am an honors student who has spent time tutoring peers in english, mathematics (algebra I & II, pre-calculus, statistics), and sciences (biology, chemistry, physics). I’m confident that I can help your kiddo(s) with their homework! Additionally, I am fully vaccinated and (Flu, Covid-19, TB, etc) and willing to wear a mask or other PPE upon request. I’m looking to provide a helping hand to busy parents on a long-term or short-term schedule! I’m open to working multiple days a week and on relatively last-minute calls. I can work overnight, daytime, early-morning, or whatever you need: It’s my desire to care for others! My NPI number: 1093662470 RBT Certification number: RBT-26-513371 AHA BLS e-card number: 271261891798
