Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because caring for others has always been a big part of my life. Growing up in a large family with 13 siblings and many nieces and nephews, I have always enjoyed helping care for children and supporting their growth and well-being. I enjoy creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and cared for. I also have reliable transportation, so I am able to travel as needed. What experience do you have? I have years of hands-on experience caring for children through my large family. As one of 14 siblings and an aunt to many nieces and nephews, I have helped with supervising children of various ages, preparing meals, assisting with homework, organizing activities, maintaining routines, and providing general care. In addition, as a nursing student, I have gained experience working with people in healthcare settings and understand the importance of safety, patience, and attentive care. What skills and training do you have? As a nursing student, I have developed strong caregiving, communication, and problem-solving skills. I am responsible, dependable, patient, and able to remain calm in challenging situations. My education has given me knowledge of health, safety, and child development, and I am comfortable following care instructions and responding appropriately to children's needs. My experience in a large family has also taught me how to multitask, stay organized, and build positive relationships with children of all ages.
