At 20 years old, I've found that my passion falls with helping and teaching children. I grew up as 1 of 6 children and have gotten my experience by helping take care of my siblings, helping my mom (former babysitter) on the job, and helping busy families around my community. Before I started my job at Kiddie Academy Childcare Learning, I was required to take a First Aid and CPR Training Course with the Grove City Fire Marshal. While employed with Kiddie Academy I cooked, taught, and cared for children between ages 6 weeks — 8 years. I excelled with infants and toddlers, working on crafts, physical activity, reading, and math. I loved helping them develop their motor skills; walking, crawling, sitting, and climbing were my areas of expertise and I loved getting to see the faces of caretakers when they saw their crawler walk toward them. I adore music, Read more and dancing with children has become a favorite of mine. I enjoy watching their dance moves evolve over a period of time and seeing the joy on their faces when they dance with their caretakers. My goal is to create a safe and fun environment for children to express themselves while giving caretakers a break to take time in their own space.
