As a former preschool teacher and social work masters candidate I have an extensive amount of knowledge and experience working with youth. I am dedicated to getting to know and uplifting every child I work with and childcare is something I am passionate about. I love incorporating learning and play in nature with all of the children that I work with. Building an authentic connection and a foundation of trust with the child and their families is something important to me. My work as a preschool teacher has taught me so much about how to care for, educate, potty train, nourish and connect with children ages 2-5 and I have learned so much through these children that it has become a lifelong career choice for me now. Social work has given me the skills necessary to meet children where they are at with compassion and care and foster a safe, nonjudgmental environment where children can flourish. This is the most important thing to me within any childcare setting or position.
