I am CPR & AED certified (continuously for the past 4 years) and plan to always keep my certifications up to date. For the past 3 years, I’ve worked at the YMCA in both the Child Watch Center and in their All Day Summer Camps. In that time, I’ve been trusted to step into leadership roles across both programs, and I would be happy to provide a recommendation letter from my supervisor. My experience ranges from caring for infants as young as 6 weeks to guiding energetic middle schoolers up to 8th grade. Beyond my YMCA work, I’ve also been babysitting and nannying for many years with several “regular” families who can speak to my reliability and care. During the school year, I am a full-time preschool teacher. I write lesson plans, foster social-emotional growth, and help my students build the foundations for independence, confidence, and kindness. There is nothing more rewarding than watching little ones discover their voices, share their first friendships, and beam with pride when they master something new. My classroom is a place filled with laughter, love, and curiosity, and I carry that same energy into any childcare role I take on. My standard rate is $20 per hour, with an additional $5 per hour for extra tasks beyond childcare. For transportation, I own a “low back/no back” booster seat, but I am happy to use whichever car seat you provide and feel most comfortable with. I’ve been driving for 3 years with a perfect record, no accidents, no tickets. Kids are my passion. I never tire of watching them grow, explore, and begin to understand the world around them. I know first-hand that having a consistent, nurturing adult presence can set a child up for lifelong success, and I feel truly grateful for every opportunity to be a part of that journey.
