Hi, I'm Gabriella! I’ve been a caregiver for about nine years and I love working in this field. Community is needed when raising children and being a part of that is fulfilling. My goal when caregiving is to provide nurturing, attentive care to help foster creativity, individualism, and autonomy. I am screen free (unless it is part of the child’s routine) when working, except to communicate with the parents/guardians of the child. Filling the day with age appropriate activities and guided play, I am able to learn how to communicate one on one with the child, their emotions, and their interests. This allows me to build a bond where the child feels safe in my care and leaves the parents/guardians reassured. I have experience with newborn, infant, and toddler care, preparing meals for children with dietary restrictions (Type 1 Diabetes), baby led weaning, potty training, children on the autism spectrum, Read more ranging from low level needs to children that are nonverbal, and I am certified in CPR and basic first aid. I am available from 6am-5pm Monday/Tuesday/Friday 6am-2pm on Wednesday/Thursday and occasionally the weekends if planned with one to two weeks notice! When I'm not babysitting I am either spending time at home with my family or painting at my art studio!
