Hi! My name is Alaina Briggs-Scott, but you can call me Lala! 💕 I’m a caring, dependable, and patient caregiver who truly enjoys working with children and helping them feel safe, supported, and loved. Although I am young, I have had years of hands-on childcare experience within my own family. I became an auntie at just 10 years old, and when my niece was one, we learned that she was autistic. From a young age, I was actively involved in her care and attended her ABA therapy appointments, which taught me the importance of patience, understanding, consistency, and celebrating every child’s individual progress. I also have a 5-year-old niece who is speech delayed and has ADHD, which has given me even more experience understanding different communication styles, personalities, routines, and individual needs. At 14 years old, I also began helping care for my five younger cousins, whom my mom adopted. Caring for them became part of my everyday routine. I helped get them ready for school, took them to school, assisted with homework, prepared dinner, helped them get ready for bed, and did it all over again the next day. Those experiences taught me responsibility, organization, patience, and how important it is to create a structured but loving environment for children. I am also CPR certified and First Aid trained, and I am currently a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). My healthcare experience has strengthened my ability to recognize when someone may need additional help, follow safety procedures, provide compassionate care, and remain calm and responsible in different situations. I am planning to begin nursing school very soon, with the long-term goal of continuing to grow in the healthcare field. When your child is in my care, my goal is for you to feel confident knowing they are being treated with kindness, patience, respect, and genuine care. I understand that choosing someone to care for your child is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. I may be young, but I am responsible, CPR certified, First Aid trained, a CNA, and most importantly, someone who genuinely loves caring for children. I will always do my best to provide your child with the safest, happiest, and most nurturing care possible. 💕
