Hello, I'm Anna and I've been working with children since 2015! Like many others in childcare, I started out babysitting and working as a camp counselor. In 2023, I started working as a floater at an early learning center, eventually becoming the assistant teacher/interim lead for the two-year-old classroom. I worked there for almost two years before moving to California in order to be closer to my fiance's family. I have a BA in Anthropology and am currently a full-time student in an Early Childhood Studies program with the ultimate goal of earning a PK-3 Teaching Credential or a Masters in Early Childhood Education. The thing I love most about working with children is getting to watch them grow and help them learn, and also learn from them in turn; they're so capable and wise, and often see the truth in things in a way adults cannot. I especially love Read more reading, pretend play, and art, but am comfortable with a wide range of developmentally appropriate activities and lessons. I've worked with diverse families throughout my entire career, and also come from a multiracial family myself, so I understand that all families are different and that there is no one right way to do things! I'm certified in adult, pediatric, and infant first aid and CPR and also have experience cooking, cleaning, caring for pets, and doing laundry.
