I was previously working in an all-day preschool and am hoping to move into a full-time nanny position. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with my small group of kiddos but am looking to dedicate my time to the right family! We specialize in the Reggio approach, and I intend to continue these methods towards little ones I work with. I believe happy and fulfilling lives start early in childhood and I look forward to having a positive impact. I pride myself on keeping a practical attitude no matter the situation, as well as being able to relate and empathize with all people. I’ve spent time as a counseling assistant in a therapy program for adolescents, so I have experience with deescalation and finding constructive solutions, all while staying empathetic. I’m most looking forward to engaging with kiddos in creative ways — I have experience with art therapy! Definitely willing to help Read more with any reading/writing homework, and would be more than happy to go on any outdoors adventures. I’m also willing to be transportation to/from school or after school activities! I’ve also had dogs all my life and think animals contribute to a happy household! I’m willing to take furry friends out for walks, feed them, bathe them, etc. I’ve had small dogs (chihuahua/papillon mix) and currently have a bigger dog (shiba inu/Sheppard mix) so I’m comfortable caring for all pet sizes.
