Hello y’all! My name is Nije and I’m currently a student at NAU. I hope to one day be a pediatric speech pathologist, but my love for working with kids comes from a teaching experience I had in high school. I participated in a program my junior and senior year with a class of 2-5 year olds in an academic and supervised environment where we created activities for the children pertaining to all sorts of topics such as math and science as well as art and reading. Throughout my two years during the program, we were given lessons regarding CPR, first aid, arizona learning standards, and safety practices so I understand the importance of providing a space that nurtures learning but also prioritizes the wellbeing of all kids present. I’d love to continue helping kids grow and develop while pursuing my college education- it’s a passion of mine that I Read more am very eager to share with this community.
