My name is Mica and Im a writer and grad student at the University of Michigan. I started babysitting when I was in high school, and never stopped, and through the years I've gathered experience with children ages 3+, siblings, nighttime babysitting, sick care, and also received my red cross certificate. I also have many years of experience in preschool and elementary education, and as a tutor. I've done reading and writing intervention work, english as a second language, after school care, and sports. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish. My favorite part of babysitting is helping the children have intellectually engaging, stimulating fun. I am not the kind of babysitter who believes in just turning on the T.V, or giving your child an ipad. With me, your child will do arts and crafts, read stories, and play outside. Im also available to teach your child Spanish, or do Read more Orton Gillingham style reading help. I have a car, and, if you provide a safe car seat, feel comfortable driving your child and picking them up. I can also provide references.
