Hello! My first name is Evonne, but I go by my middle name, Mason. I am 21 years old, and have worked in childcare since graduating high school in 2022. During my time in school, I completed an optional collage level course on early elementary education and childhood development. I spent time shadowing an amazing kindergarten teacher in her classroom, but my love for kiddos started way before that. I have a younger brother who is 15 years younger than me, and I found caring for him and looking out for him to be the most fulfilling job of my life. I know without a doubt that caring for others is my life's calling. I have worked both as an infant and toddler teacher and care provider, I loved both roles equally. My skills go beyond childcare, what I love most is helping my community, so whether it's elderly care, Read more childcare, pet care, or cleaning services, I am a great candidate for you to consider. While younger kids are my jam, I can take care of your older children as well. I'm not shy help potty train, or help with homework. It is my personal belief that any child can succeed with the right support. I am well educated on autism and other neurodivergences, and I do not fear non-verbal children. I think that the biggest support we can offer our youth is gentleness, patience and understanding. You must meet children where they are at with their communication skills, and I have no problem working with you so I can better understand your kiddo. I am CPR and First Aid certified and I take every kids development seriously. Kids should be dancing, singing and engaging in imaginative play while they learn about the vast world around them. I tend to focus on a childs emotional development and regulation skills first and foremost, because I believe that is the foundation of success.
