My name is Karson Magee and I am currently a senior at Alcorn state university and I am 21 years old. Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I’ve always had a passion for working with kids. Ever since I was younger, I’ve enjoyed being around children and helping them learn and grow. Being able to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for them is something that really means a lot to me. What experience do you have? I started watching kids when I was in 8th grade, especially because I had foster siblings and helped care for them regularly. From there, I also babysat for kids around my neighborhood. Over time, I’ve worked at different summer camps and daycares, which gave me even more hands-on experience with children of different ages. What skills and training do you have? I’m also patient, responsible, and good at creating routines that help kids feel comfortable and secure.
