* My name is Lezli, I am 23 years old. I am currently a college student at CSU Stanislaus. * I am the oldest out of 5. I took care each of my youngest siblings starting at 5 months when my mom would be at work. * I’ve volunteered at elementary schools and have been a teacher assistant for 1st graders. * I’ve worked for a family as a mommy helper with a 3 week old baby for a couple of months. Feeding & putting her to sleep. * I have a one year old niece who’ve I’ve taken care of since she was 1 month old. I took care of her while her parents worked. * For my niece, my experience was teaching her how to hold her bottle on her own. Teaching her Spanish and English everyday by singing, reading, dancing and playing were our daily activities. Since Read more I spend the most time with her at home, I would make her breakfast , lunch , snack and dinner daily. I would also bathe her and dress her up for the day everyday. When she would get sick, I would also care for her and give her medicine as her mom preferred until she got better. If she had a doctors appointment I would also take her for her check up’s. We would also take strolls at the park every other day to get some sun and play time. * Household duties were : cleaning and organizing the living room area, all bedrooms , bathroom and kitchen. All would be accomplished when baby would nap. Laundry was also done every week. Occasionally I would run errands such as grocery shopping.
