Caring for children is more than a job to me, it is my passion and my calling. I bring a calm, nurturing presence and believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English from Old Dominion University and have over a decade of experience working with children in a variety of educational and childcare settings. My background includes caring for children in university-based daycare centers, working in Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools and Virginia Beach Public Schools, and serving as a Children’s Services Specialist with WHRO Public Media, where I led enrichment programs focused on literacy, creativity, and hands-on learning. I am trained in maintaining safe learning environments, supporting social-emotional development, and keeping children actively engaged through age-appropriate educational activities, arts and crafts, storytelling, and structured play.
