Hi! I am a undergraduate student at UC Santa Barbara majoring in biology. I absolutely love kids, and have tons of experience working with them! I have prior experience babysitting, have siblings I helped out with, worked at Kumon where I taught kids 6-18 math and and English, and have spent the last summer working at a pediatric dentist office, helping kids ease their fears of the dentist. Most importantly, I was a camp counselor this past summer for a week long camp which entailed me being in charge of 3 six-nine year olds everyday from waking them up, making sure they were eating properly, making sure they were having fun, and putting them to sleep. I learned many valuable skills in that position that I believe will greatly help me in this role.
