Hello, My name is Tawny, I am 27 years old. I would love to find a family I could be a long term nanny for and build a relationship with starting in November. I absolutely love kids and have grown up watching all my neighbors and cousins kids. I have experience in age ranging from 9months to 12 years old. Activities include crafts, baking, going to the park, playing outside, card/board games, Lego's, etc. I have the energy it takes to keep up with kids. I enjoy playing with them and finding/creating fun activities so they won't be bored. I am responsible and always clean up after myself and the children. Light/moderate housekeeping is okay with me. I have been with Read more my current nanny family for about 4 years, I created a great bond with them and sad to be leaving. The youngest is starting kindergarten, I spent most of my time with her, I also handled after school pick up for her two older siblings. We had so much fun doing our daily routine, fun educational activities and lots of outside time. I helped prepare her for preschool with daily workbook time with other fun ways to grasp the concepts. I value pretend play and outdoor time. I think they are very important in a daily routine, Every child is different so I pour into what they show the most interest in. The previous family I was with for 2 years, the girls were 2 and 7. With this family, I spent most of the day with the youngest, we loved going for walks, to the park and library, having picnics and getting creative inside. The oldest and I loved card games and playing dolls. I like to stick to the same type of routine everyday. I am a big supporter of quiet time during the day if they no longer take naps. The family I was with from 2019-2021 was for two boys, I started when they were 3 and 9 months. I was part time, the boys and I’s favorite thing to do was reading books and outside play. For the baby, I would give bottles, introduce to solid food, stuck to a nap schedule and helped with all the important learning milestones as they grow up. I briefly worked at La Petite Academy, I was a floater teacher mostly in the infant, toddler and preschool room. I am certified in CPR / Infant CPR and first-aid and I have my own reliable transportation. *I do not know any other languages, I haven’t been able to fix that in the settings*
