**About Me** I have been caring for children since I was 14 years old and have over a decade of babysitting and childcare experience working with multiple families. Throughout the years, I have cared for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children, including supervising up to four toddlers at the same time. These experiences have helped me become patient, organized, and confident in managing busy households while creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. I am CPR certified and prioritize safety in everything I do. I am comfortable preparing nutritious meals and snacks, following family routines, and adapting to each child's unique needs. I believe children learn best through play, so I enjoy encouraging imaginative play, reading books together, spending time outdoors, and incorporating age-appropriate learning opportunities throughout the day. I value structure and consistency, including maintaining healthy nap schedules and daily routines. If your child has activities, hobbies, or developmental goals, I am happy to reinforce those skills during our time together. I also believe in being fully present with the children in my care, so I keep personal phone use to a minimum. As I am currently pursuing graduate school, I may occasionally use nap time or a scheduled movie to complete coursework, while always remaining attentive and available. One of my greatest strengths is building trusting relationships with children. I strive to be a calm, dependable, and encouraging presence where they feel safe, heard, and respected. When conflicts or big emotions arise, I use positive guidance techniques—such as redirection, timers, choices, and problem-solving—to help children work through challenges in a healthy way rather than relying on punishment. My goal is to partner with parents to provide dependable, compassionate care while creating a positive environment where children can learn, grow, and enjoy being kids.
