Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy helping others and creating a safe, supportive environment for those in my care. Through my volunteer experiences and leadership roles, I have developed a strong passion for serving my community and making a positive impact on people’s lives. I value building meaningful relationships, being dependable, and providing peace of mind to families by ensuring their loved ones are well cared for. What experience do you have? I recently graduated from Jackson State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a concentration in Pre-Medicine. Throughout college, I balanced academics with extensive leadership and volunteer experiences. I served in the Student Government Association as Freshman Class Vice President and Clerk of Courts, and I currently serve as Co-Chair of Records for the Campus Activities Board. I have also volunteered regularly at the Mississippi Food Bank Read more and gained healthcare-related experience through volunteer work with Esse Health. These experiences strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, stay organized, and care for individuals from diverse backgrounds. What skills and training do you have? My background in Biology and Pre-Medicine has provided me with a strong foundation in health, safety, and professionalism. I am highly responsible, organized, and attentive to detail. I have experience working with diverse populations, maintaining confidentiality, communicating effectively, and handling responsibilities independently. My leadership positions have strengthened my problem-solving, time-management, and interpersonal skills. Additionally, my volunteer and healthcare experiences have helped me develop patience, compassion, and the ability to remain calm and dependable in a variety of situations.
