Hi! My name is Madison, and I’m a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Multimedia from Siena University. I have several years of experience working with children of different ages through substitute teaching, coaching, ski instruction, and helping out with my family’s home daycare. I love creating a fun, positive, and safe environment where kids can feel comfortable being themselves while also learning and growing. As a substitute teacher, I’ve worked with students across different grade levels, following lesson plans, managing classrooms, and keeping kids engaged. I also work with children ages 6 months to 8 years old at my family’s home daycare from time to time, helping with daily routines, playtime, activities, and supervision. This experience has given me the opportunity to care for children at different developmental stages and understand their individual needs. I’ve also been a ski instructor and team leader, which has taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, communication, and safety. I currently work as a Clinical Therapist in an inpatient behavioral health setting, where I work closely with patients and use my psychology background every day. I’m compassionate, dependable, and comfortable handling different personalities and situations. I also hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which has given me additional training in responding to emergency situations and keeping others safe. Outside of work, I love being active, spending time outdoors, and staying involved in the community. I’m happy to help with activities, homework, playtime, meals, routines, and whatever else makes your family’s day a little easier. Most importantly, I want both kids and parents to feel comfortable knowing they have someone trustworthy, responsible, and caring looking after their children!
