I love being a sitter because it positively impacts my skills as a public health professional. As a person seeking a master’s degree in public health, it is incredibly important to me to understand all the communities I serve. I have experience with children via my mother’s job as an elementary school teacher. I have a lot of experience volunteering and working with children and have had a lot of fun doing so. Do to my bachelor’s degree in public health I am informed on the nutritional, physical, and social needs of children. I have also had the privilege of learning CPR and basic first aid training through my education.
