I had reached out to Trish on Sittercity.com based on her Profile when I was in need of a nanny for my 2 children (3yo & 5yo); to finish out the school year. Trish has been a DREAM...Anyone lucky enough to get her - KEEP HER! I have been using these sitter sites for some time now and you don't come across a TRISH very often! Trish is knowledgeable - she has been working with my 3yo on his potty training (and coaching me as well!). She is PASSIONATE about what she does; she is NOT a babysitter; She puts her whole heart into these kids, as if they were her own. She has brought preschool workbooks and worked with my 3yo on his colors, shapes & writing skills. She has planned science experiments to do with both my children, which they have loved. She always makes it a point to keep my children active and engaged; always planning activities both inside and outside of our home. She plays with them on their level; often sitting right beside them on the floor or crawling into their treehouse with them for story time or role playing... She even plays with our dogs in the backyard during nap times and strives to stay busy, helping out with house work or chores whenever possible; even when not required. Trish is Punctual, Responsible, Trustworthy, and the definition of what a true Nanny should be.

We can not say enough good about Trish. She has a fantastic personality and is wonderful with our children

Our family traveled to Mystic for a wedding weekend and were in need of a sitter for an 18 mos old and 4 year old. Can't say enough how amazing Trish was. She connected with the kids upon arrival and remained focused and engaged them even when people were gathered at the house in between the service and reception. She played games, read books, took them to the playground (ie: no tv/video) and sent parents photos of kids in action. The mother of the 18 mos old was highly nervous stating her child would not be comfortable with a stranger...let's just say he dropped dear mom like a hot potato when he was with Trish. The mom's worries were very much at ease. If you are looking for a nanny, I wouldn't pass up on using her. My only regret is that we don't live closer to use her again.
