I am a creative and patient nanny with over 9 years of experience caring for children. I am also a tutor focusing on assisting children with reading, writing, speech, and natural science projects. My teaching style does not feel like homework and is based on the child’s interests and passions. I believe every child has a completely different mind, way of thinking, and learning style. I also believe that a child will learn best when they are enjoying themselves through being taught in a way that directly meets their interests and needs. I have experience with ages ranging from newborn to fourteen. I have an associates in Social science and the majority of my associates in Child Development. I am CPR certified and fully capable of assisting in household needs and cooking. I communicate well with parents and have often found updates and daily summaries best sent via text message. Having a strong and safe-feeling relationship with the kids is very important to me so I like to very clearly set expectations with the parents from the beginning.
